I am not sure the feeling of being in love, or a natural romance isn't wasted on the young. It seems to me that as I get older it takes more to turn my head. Then through the wonders of the internet, it seems that any females that turn my head are at least a thousand miles away. Ha ha so I read blogs, and keep on working. It works both ways.......I have met for sex off the net and frankly I found it unsatisfying. Just a step above masturbating. What I have found is people appear to have two distinct personalities. One on the net and another in real life. I am not saying that's wrong and I am probably just as much to blame as anyone (or perhaps in real life I just wasn't what they were expecting) I'm just saying that's the way it appears to be. Myself I have given up on it.

Understand I have no intent to blame women for giving in too fast or men for pushing the point, gravitating toward the "easy" women. It's just that when the whole relationship is "lets fuck" this is what you get. I am also not claiming to be blameless, it took me awhile and personal experience to come to that conclusion.

For me, great sex comes with a fulfilling relationship. Sure one night stands can be alright I guess, but to get to know someone, what they think, feel, desire and more , takes time.With time, open communication, non judgemental conversation and the willingness and desire to trust in each other to talk about and to listen to each others wants and needs. A good solid foundation where both know exactly what the other is looking for. For me, the best sex has always come from a good relationship. To explore each others desires comes with open dialogue , trust from both sides, and more. Doesn't matter if its casual sex or ongoing relationship, communication is the key for both,

Living in an even smaller town (and less densely populated area) than you, and seeing that ladies in the heavily populated areas of huge cities bemoan that they can't find anyone - makes me feel better that it is "not just me". Hell, I'd get excited if I could even find a guy that seemed worth my time meeting for a coffee. And then, you pray he has teeth ! And can carry on a conversation. The list goes on.
