How do you convey you're a normal, quiet, confident, kind man to someone you are not meeting face to face? It's difficult. I'm single, educated, intelligent, trained in music and woodworking. I can't tolerate smokers and I have no religion. I started rock climbing over 35 years ago. I located in Las Vegas to be able to climb and work. Climbing keeps me strong and fit mentally and physically. It's a life style for me. After retiring as a commercial finish carpenter in Las Vegas 2010, I began studying to trade options. My last career. I get to use the math I studied at University. I've matured psychologically beyond what I could previously conceive. Day to day living is trading mornings...studying, reading in the afternoons; working out and in evenings...at times conversation with friends, hanging at home, watching a video. Occasionally I am posting on the Mountain Project site, giving back a little to the climbing community in a positive way. While things are casual and spontaneous, there is no space for complacency in my life. My time schedule is my own. Let's be honest here. There is plenty of time in my life for a woman and I'm going to do things with her, but don't look for me me in a bar, club, casino, or even hanging out here much; I am not a paying member. I try to climb at least one day on weekends and once during the week if partners are available. Other times I can catch an afternoon hour or two at the Red Rock climbing gym. There is a tournament rigged and ready bass boat parked, ready to use any time I want to go fishing. From time to time I go and do road trips and outdoor activities. I'm going to City of Rocks mid June 2013. It's your choice or not to become part of that life. I’m looking for a woman who is not jaded and who is optimistic; someone I can be silly with, play with, laugh with, someone more carefree than troubled. I'm looking for a woman I can talk to when I am troubled or broody. I'm looking for a woman who can talk to me when she is troubled. I don't want or need someone to clean and cook for me.
